The
precious muga silk is offered in 90 cm and 115 cm width. It
is available pre-washed in 115 cm width.
The muga silkworm requires a specific ecological environment,
larvas eat leaves of scalu (Litsaea monopetala Pers.) and
som (Machilus bombycina King).
Cocoons become goldish and this is why the natural colour
of mooga silk is gold.
A gift of the nature. You can use muga silk for clothes and
decoration (curtains, blinds)
Cold water wash. Reflects nicely the natural light.
Each muga piece colour differs, depending of the leaves food
eaten by silkworms.

| Sandal
facial mask is home made by women from Mayotte and Comorro
archipelago Islands. |
|
Sandal wood is rubbed against a stone and the fresh paste
is used as a facial mask.
Here, is the paste is air dired in the sun to make the powder
which is offered to you.
You just have to mix it with little water, and use it as normal
mask (avoid to put it around eyes).
You can keep this mixture in fridge.
This natural sandal mask protects against sun, refreshes and
perfumes the skin.
Like women from Comorro and Mayotte islands, you can leave
it full day (never by night) and even go out with it, if you
like.
